The Wind in the Willows

To mark the centenary of the publication of Kenneth Grahame’s children’s classic THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS this month, Vintage Classics launched a competition in May for a 7 to 12 year old to have their illustration featured on the front cover of the Vintage Classics edition of the book.

 

After sifting through over 300 entries, our winner is 12-year-old Harry Jones from Woodford Green in Essex. The runners-up are Catherine Funnell from Elmsett in Suffolk (aged 8), Laura Hutchison from Abingdon in Oxfordshire (aged 12), and Tom Wheeler from Dedham in Essex (aged 12).
